Fairness 2 | October 2019

We were thrilled to be asked once again by St Andrew Fair Saturday to help launch the Scottish leg of the initiative. It is a global cultural movement with social impact that takes place every last Saturday of November, the day following Black Friday.

“Not the usual and something different: vibrant, engaging, fun and serious, taking you on a rollercoaster of emotions and thought. Makes you smile and will make you think and you’ll come away thinking more positively about orchestral music than before .”

Audience member, Glasgow Lodging House Mission

This short one-day tour saw the orchestra give seven performances in just one day in venues across Glasgow and Edinburgh. We revisited old friends at Social Bite Village and Glasgow Lodging House Mission, met new ones at Oakwood Primary School and finished with the concert at Summerhall alongside the Zea Mays.
