Nevis Ensemble musicians, Aimée Laws, Andrew Taheny, Heidi van der Swaagh and Sagnick Mukherjee have been working with primary school pupils across Drumchapel as part of our Glasgow Life Creative Communities: Artist in Residence programme.
Working online, they delivered a number of workshops looking at Pulse, Rhythm, Melody and Lyrics using some music recorded by Nevis musicians (and members of the public!) during our lockdown Living Room Ensemble.
The four videos below complement those sessions, but can be used as a stand-alone resource for pupils, parents and teachers.
And there are some really catchy tunes to play, sing and dance along with too!
This project, along with Nevis Ensemble’s other 2021 work in Drumchapel and Anniesland has been made possible by Glasgow Life’s Creative Communities: Artist in Residence programme.
