Carly McCready

Carly is a Horn player and arts practitioner from Aberdeen, Scotland. She studied Music Performance at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland and continues to freelance with ensembles in and around Britain. Carly is passionate about using music for social change and since graduating she has worked as a practitioner for Sistema Scotland.  She also does outreach work for the National Youth Choir of Scotland and is the current ‘horn ambassador’ for the National Youth Orchestra of Scotland.

Carly other passion lies in ‘Arts in Justice’ – she has recently been studying this area and starting to facilitate workshops in Prisons and Young Offenders Institutions across Scotland. She is delighted to be joining the Nevis Ensemble and is very excited for all the opportunities the Fellowship has to offer.
